Let's Play! Gamifying the Music Theory Classroom

Drs. Matthew Ferrandino (Ph.D.) and Frank Nawrot (DMA) are developing a free, web-based book of music theory games designed to make classrooms—from high school AP to graduate seminars—more engaging. Featuring activities ranging from 20 Questions to a Neo-Riemannian card game, the book encourages playful, active learning. It will also be open to submissions from other educators. This is a temporary home for completed games as the book is in progress.
